ABOUT US

Test Prep Works was founded to provide effective materials for test preparation.  Its founder, Christa Abbott, has been a test prep coach for over a decade.  She specializes in helping students prepare for private school exams and her students now attend some of the most prestigious schools in the country.  She spent years looking for effective materials for the private school entrance exams but came up empty-handed.  The books available combined several different tests and while there are overlaps, they are not the same test.  Christa found this to be very, very overwhelming for students who were in elementary and middle school and that just didn’t seem necessary.  Christa developed her own materials to use with students that are specific for each level of the test.  She knew that other students could also benefit from materials that were tailored to each test and developmentally appropriate for students and so Test Prep Works was born.

Christa Abbott received her B.A. from Middlebury College and earned her M.Ed. from the University of Virginia.  She uses her background in education and follows the latest research about how we learn to produce high quality materials.  She also continues to coach students for entrance exams in the Washington, D.C., area and works with students internationally via Skype.  If you would like more information on her coaching services please visit www.ChristaAbbott.com
